All Perennials
Perennial plants are some of the most popular plants to grow—and it's easy to find perennial plants that fit your garden space and growing requirements. To successfully grow perennials, start by selecting varieties that suit your growing conditions. Make sure they will grow in your hardiness zone. Also, consider how much direct sunlight they will receive each day. Some plants thrive in full sun, or six or more hours of sunlight daily, while others prefer dappled sunlight, morning sunlight, or just a few hours of direct sunlight daily. Most plants prefer well-drained soil, but some are drought-tolerant and some prefer moist soil. Another factor to consider is the plant's mature size. Perennials may take a few years to reach their mature size, so you don't want to overcrowd them at planting time.
