Heuchera
Heuchera, or coral bells, add color and charm to shade gardens and containers. Available in an array of foliage colors, their neat clumps of evergreen foliage are striking, especially when planted in groups. Heuchera are often planted in rock gardens, perennial borders, woodland gardens and along shaded walkways. Commonly called coral bells, these deer-resistant perennials produce petite flowers that open above the foliage in early summer. When buying heuchera perennial plants for the garden, make sure they are suitable for your grow zone. Other considerations when buying these perennial plants are their mature height and spread, soil requirements and foliage color. They grow best in partial to full shade.
