Hybrid Tea
When people picture a rose, the hybrid tea rose often comes to mind. Hybrid tea roses feature classically shaped, elegant and often fragrant flowers on long stems. They're eye-catching on the rose plant and in cut-flower displays and bouquets. Available in an array of flower colors, hybrid tea roses bloom throughout the summer. They can be grown as accent plants in mixed perennial beds or grouped together as a flowering hedge. Hybrid tea roses grow best in full sun (six or more hours of direct sunlight daily) and well-drained soil. When selecting hybrid tea rose plants to buy, consider their grow zone, disease resistance, mature height and spread, flower color and fragrance.
