Sun/Partial Sun
Many shrubs and bushes, especially fruiting shrubs, butterfly bushes, lilacs and many hydrangeas, perform best when they receive at least 4 or more hours of direct sunlight daily. Usually full sun is considered 6 or more hours of direct sunlight daily and part sun is 4-6 hours of direct sunlight daily. These sun-loving shrubs provide structure and color to the garden. When designing your garden, consider where a shrub might be a good focal point. Many types of shrubs can also be planted in groups to form either formal or informal hedges. Before buying shrubs for sale online, make sure they are suitable for your grow zone. Other factors to consider include soil requirements, mature height and spread, flower color, fruits and bloom or harvest time.
